Academic Integrity & Plagiarism
In Summary:
AISD supports the responsible use of AI to enhance learning while strictly prohibiting plagiarism. Students are expected to produce original work, properly cite any AI-generated content, and uphold academic integrity at all times.Ā Ā
Deepfake Media
In Summary:
The district is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and responsible learning environment. With the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), students and parents must be aware of the severe consequences surrounding the misuse of AI technologies, including the creation or distribution of ādeepfakeā media, including intimate or explicit images to bully, deceive, threaten, harm, harass, or embarrass others. Both the Chapter 21 Texas Penal Code and the federal Take it Down Act make certain conduct involving deepfakes a criminal offense.
