Mrs. Kaestner's 4th Grade

A little about myself:

I am starting my 17th year of teaching - oh my! It feels just like yesterday I was a first year teacher. All of my years have been here in Alburnett. My husband and I are graduates of Wartburg College and moved here due to his job, and we have loved every minute of it. At Wartburg I earned a BA in Elementary Education with endorsements in reading and math. I also earned my Master's Degree in Collaboration.

I am originally from Hudson, Iowa, home of the Hudson Pirates, so I have been a Pirate for most of my life. I have three boys, and our house is always active - and loud! My older two are in third grade and kindergarten this year in Alburnett.

I love being active, and am always looking for some new workouts to do! I also love reading, shopping, and traveling.

In addition to teaching, I am also the Head Girls Track coach here in Alburnett. I am so excited for our new track!
