aren’t sure what direction to go?

Join us for a day of exploration in the wide range opportunities that might be in your future.

Atmospheric Sciences, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemistry , Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Earth Science, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Chemistry, Fisheries, Geological Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, Geography, Heathcare and Research, Marine Science and Limnology, Mathematics and Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Natural Resources Management, Ocean Sciences, Petroleum Engineering, Physics, Science Education, Space Physics, Wildlife Biology and Conservation

One day event: panel discussions with scientists and current science students, small group discussions, hands-on activities, information on careers, education and funding options, tradeshow with industry and governmental agencies, student organizations and so much more! Free event for high school and college students, their parents and interested public.

UAF Admissions and Financial Aid staff will also be available to answer questions during this event - get a jump start on your application or follow-up with FAFSA.

This is a free event but registration is required (see below)

Registration Check-in starts at 9:00 a.m.

Opening comments and orientation at 9:30 a.m.

Openhouse exploration of the various types of STEM careers from 9:30 a.m until 1 p.m.

Visit as few or as many rooms, activities, displays and small group discussions as you'd like - ask the tough questions and

find out more about your areas of interest. Check out sciences you didn't know existed or get a closer view of your favorites.
