UA's COVID-19 response

This site is a clearinghouse for information about the University of Alaska's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our leadership and emergency management teams are working in tandem with national, state and local partners to manage this rapidly changing situation. Our goal is to continue to serve our students and the state, while taking steps to protect the health and safety of our students, employees and communities.

UA Phases

The University of Alaska is using a phased plan to help guide operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan consists of five phases of operations, along a spectrum from the most restrictive to the least restrictive, with safety measures built into each phase. Learn more about UA phases.

Now more than ever, our students are requesting help due to housing displacement, the loss of a job, food insecurity and technology needs. The Student Support Fund is designed to help students facing unexpected costs and short-term emergencies, such as the sudden loss of a part-time job.
