Sanghyun Lee

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Mobility Engineering at Ajou University. Previously, I received my B.S. in Automotive Engineering from Hanyang University and my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Seoul National University.

Before joining Ajou University, I worked at an autonomous driving startup, Thordrive, for three years and four months. During my time there, I worked on various projects aimed at deploying autonomous vehicles in complex urban environments, including Palo Alto and Seoul, as well as in crowded indoor environments such as the arrival and departure halls of Incheon International Airport. I led the decision-making and planning team in these projects and also actively participated in the overall development process.
