All lessons and work have a purpose. Missing any lesson will put you at a disadvantage. Therefore it's important that you take the time to catch up with any work that might miss.
If you have an excused absence, you can still complete the work for full credit.
If you have an unexcused absence, you should still complete the work, but it will be for zero credit.
As per the handbook, the teacher has no say in whether or not your absence counts as being excused or not. That is up to the high school office. Please notify the high school office (hsoffice@aisegypt.com) within 24 hours of being absent.
What must I do if I am absent?
Within 24 hours of being absent, please send me an email to ask what work you have missed, and complete the Extension Request Form for any deadlines that you have missed. You will be allowed to redo these assignments for full-credit if the high school office excuses your absence.
