AISC Collaborators

We develop a deeper understanding by listening carefully to others’ perspectives and confidently articulating personal viewpoints in the pursuit of common goals.

Collaborators work together to get things done! AISC students in elementary school have a lot of experience with teamwork and collaboration. Even apart, we can work together virtually in many ways.

Choose one of the collaborator challenges and don’t forget to share photos of your work by emailing aiscesdesign@aischennai.org or post on Twitter with the hashtags #AISCESDesign. We would love to see what you do!

Did you know that you can create a Scratch project with a friend? Once you have begun a project, you can hit the Share button and get a link to send to a friend. Then, you will both be able to add to the story.

Create a new Scratch project with a family member or friend!

Create a math game using materials around your house. What is the name of the game? How do you play? What are the rules? How many players? Make a board and game pieces if needed.

Make a math game and then play with someone in your family!

Can you think of a group art activity? Pass a paper and each person adds something to one another’s picture. Or use all of your hands to create a piece of art. Or whatever ideas you can think of for a collaborative art project.

Create a piece of art together with crayons, markers, or paint!

What if a neighbor across the street needed to borrow some sugar? Or in an upstairs apartment? How could you feed an animal on the street? What are some ways we can collaborate and share without coming into contact with people? Share your design plan or create a model using materials around your home!

Design a system to share with a neighbor or animal.
