Improve a normal surgical mask by adding something, or changing something, to make it better.
Watch the video walkthrough where I explain each page.
1. Use the BLUE EMPATHY page to decide who and what do design
2. Fill in the sentence on the GREEN DEFINE page using the choices from the blue page.
3. BRAINSTORM at least 4 totally different plans that meet your DEFINE page problem statement.
DUE: Before the next D&I class next week
This is ONE example, please be creative and make a mask that YOU find helpful and unique!
These videos are here to help you generate ideas only, please don't copy these projects, but use them to design your own.
You can improve by observing what can be better, then adding, or changing something to make it your own!
These are just for support and ideas.... nothing more.
Prints are fun, but they are not super innovative. On your BLUE EMPATHY page, think about WHO it is for and why.
Choose WHO you will design for ....
Choose WHAT problem they are having ...
OR
Or feel free to choose your own people and ask them what problems they are having that they would liked to change.
Finish the sentence, it will help you focus your idea for your ONE project so that you have a clear direction.
Use the information from the BLUE EMPATHY page to fill in the sentence.
As fast as you can, brainstorm different ideas!
MINIMUM : 4 BRAINSTORMS!!!
*** Remember: The goal at this stage is to come up with AS MANY IDEAS AS YOUR CAN, not to take timing planning what you will build!
Feel free to print many pages, use scrap paper, or digitally draw as much as you can.
Build!
Insert photographs of the best design you chose to build from the many brainstorms you sketched out.
Does your design .... DO what is it supposed to DO?
Post a picture of your design being used.
