I began my teaching career in Canada 30 years ago! My husband and I became tired of the rain and moved to Hanford, California, in 2000. I spent 7 years in Hanford as a Learning Director and second grade teacher. In 2007, I began my career in Madera at Washington Elementary as a site coach and assistant principal and spent two years as a site coach at Lincoln Elementary as well. I was a district academic coach who helped facilitate the rollout of common core. I love my current position as a K-2 Mathematics coach for the district! Degrees and Certifications: (Bachelor's Degree in Education, University of British Columbia), (Master's Degree in Educational Leadership), (University of Portland, California Teaching Credential), ( State, Administrative Services Credential, Fresno State)
I've also been serving as a professional learning Facilitator for the AIMS Center for Math and Science Education, for the past 3 yrs.
