I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, a premier Institute of National Importance under the Government of India.
Before joining SVNIT, I worked as a Post-doctoral Research Associate with the iMARS EU-funded project and the Norwegian Biometric Laboratory (NBL) Group at NTNU, Norway, under the mentorship of Prof. Kiran Raja, Prof. Raghavendra Ramachandra, and Prof. Christoph Busch.
I completed my M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from MNIT, Jaipur, in 2014 and earned my Ph.D. in the same field from MNIT Jaipur in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Neeta Nain. During my doctoral studies, I served as a Senior Research Fellow on a MeitY-funded project focusing on child face aging and rejuvenation for tracing missing children. Additionally, I was a visiting scholar at the PRIP Lab, Michigan State University, USA, where I collaborated with Distinguished Prof. Anil K. Jain. My research there centered on cross-age face recognition, face aging, and the development of benchmark longitudinal Indian children datasets (ICD).
My research interests include biometrics, face recognition, quality assessment, generative adversarial networks, and computer vision. I have published in reputed journals and top-tier biometrics conferences such as Pattern Recognition, Neural Computing and Applications, IJCB, ICB, CVIP, and BIOSIG.
