Boys XC: 19-4
Timothy Fogley placed 4th and Hamza Mirza placed 10th at the PIAA District II AAA Championship. Timothy Fogley will compete in the PIAA State Championships.
Girls XC: 23-0
Lackawanna League Champions. Anna Pucilowski was named Runner of the Year. The girls won the PIAA District II AAA Championship. The girls will compete in the PIAA State Championships
Field Hockey: 3-16
The Comets had a very hard fought season but were knocked out in a playoff loss to #2 Dallas in the PIAA District II/IV AA Sub Regional Playoffs.
Football: 6-4
The Comets secured the #1 seed heading into the PIAA District II AAAAA Playoffs. Though the Comets have a record near .500, three of the four losses were one-score-games.
Boys Golf: 15-2
The boys golf team came off a strong finish in 2023 with a State Championship appearance. The Comets qualified four individuals for the State Championship and qualified as a team as well. The Comets overcame adversity and placed fourth overall in the PIAA AAA State Championships.
Girls Golf: 9-5
The girls golf team had a great year lead by Sophomore Liz George who shot a school record even par at Glen Oak Country Club. The Comets went on to win the District Championship.
Boys Soccer: 17-4
The boys soccer team had a great season once again. The Comets are Lackawanna League Champions for the third year. In addition, the Comets are District II AAAA runner-ups.
Girls Soccer: 17-2
The girls soccer team had a great season. Junior Lilia Calvert broke the 100-goal barrier while also setting the all-time Abington Heights goals record. The Comets are Lackawanna League Champions.
Girls Tennis: 16-2
The girls tennis team secured their 7th straight PIAA District 2 Class 3A Championship and 8th in the state. Susan Arp was the individual district champion and Mary Booth and Sona Hanumali were doubles district champions.
Girls Volleyball:16-3
The team finished the season with their best yet record of 16-3 after securing the 4th seed and making it to the district semi-finals.
