Jack Farrell- President
Q-What was your reaction when you found out you won--be unique?
Jack-”At first, I was in complete shock, which soon turned into excitement as I couldn’t wait to get started. Also, I was very thankful to have the support of my fellow classmates.”
Q-What are you most excited to do this year?
Jack-”I am most excited to see what we as a class are capable of doing! I really think we can make a huge impact on this school and the community. I also can’t wait for this year’s Fun Friday and Homecoming. I am honored to be part of it.”
Q-When you assume office, what is the first thing you want to do--be specific?
Jack-”First off, I would like to listen to my fellow classmates’ ideas, wants, and needs to learn how I can serve them best. Plus, as stated in my speech, I would like to work towards getting microwaves in the cafeteria. I realize this will be a challenge, but I am up to the task!”
Q-How do you feel about the people you will be working with?
Jack-”I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to work with the other officers as they are great fits for their jobs and are some of the hardest workers I know.”
Q- How would you like to reassure people that you are right for this position?
Jack-”Can be described in three words: determined, discipline, and encouraging. I will work my heart out for each and every student in my class. I also will never back down to any challenge. When my mind is set on a goal, I am laser-focused on making it a reality. I also will always be supporting everyone and will do my best to make this year one to remember.”
Q-What is your message to people who didn’t vote for you on Thursday?
Jack-”I am an advocate for every student in my class. To those who did not vote for me, I am hoping to exceed your expectations. To those who did not vote for me, I plan to prove myself worthy of this position. The class of 2025is truly strong, and if we work together, we are unstoppable.
Q-What is your biggest fear holding this office?
Jack-After the last two years, I have learned rather than to worry about what is going wrong; it is far better to envision the endless possibilities of what can be done. My confidence in my fellow officers and we, the class of 2025, overshadows any fears because we’ve proven that we can adapt and make the best of anything.
Evan Davis-VP
Q: What was your reaction when you found out you won
Evan: I actually felt really bad because I liked everyone else who was running, and I texted everyone running saying like they put up a great campaign; they were all great candidates. I was obviously quite happy for myself, but at the same time, I felt bad.
Q: What are you most excited to do this year?
Evan: Actually, if you want me to show you, we were actually thinking of doing like Pura Vida bracelets-like customized, then you can buy them in bulk and resell them-and that was one of our ideas. And probably our main focus is saving up for the prom.
Q: When you assume office, what is the first thing you want to do--be specific?
Evan: Honestly, I would’ve said the Pura Vida Bracelets, but first, we need to get some money to pay for them, so probably like a coin drop or something low-key.
Q: How do you feel about the people you will be working with?
Evan: I like all of them. And I feel like I can work with them very well. They are all right for the position.
Q: How would you like to reassure people that you are right for this position?
Evan: I guess you will have to wait and see what I do. I feel like what I just told you is pretty promising. We already feel confident that we can execute that to a good degree.
Q: What is your message to people who didn’t vote for you on Thursday?
Evan: I mean--I’m not like going to disagree with them. They obviously saw something in me that they didn’t like--or in someone else that they liked more, which I respect. I respect everyone else, they were all great candidates, and I am not perfect so if there is something you don’t like about me that’s okay.
Q: What is your biggest fear holding this office?
Evan: That’s a tough one, I feel like the first couple of days and weeks are going to be difficult trying to figure out what to do, but besides that, I don’t think there is really anything to be scared of.
