Hoover Elementary & Hoover PTO are excited for our fall fundraiser!
We’re raising funds to create an Indoor Recess Cart stocked with games, puzzles, books, crafts, STEM activities, and other fun resources for our students. Your support will help give kids engaging ways to play, create, explore, and connect when outdoor recess isn’t an option. Every donation brings us closer to making indoor recess fun for everyone!
Event Kickoff: Thursday, September 24, at our Back-to-School Bingo Event.

Why is shipping to the school for local pickup not available?
We opted out of school delivery for this fundraiser. In the past, we’ve had some challenges coordinating pickup and storing items that weren’t picked up, and with our volunteer pool being especially limited this school year, we decided shipping directly to families was the best option for us this time around.
Why is the goal so high?
Hoover PTO would like the Indoor Recess Cart to have content that is appropriate for all six grades, with space for K/1, 2/3, and 4/5 to each have their own selection of activities and materials. This may mean purchasing duplicates of some items so that each group has enough to use.
While these fundraisers are super important to supporting our school, we do not receive 100% of the funds raised. That is another reason we set the fundraiser goal higher, to help us reach the amount needed to fully stock the cart for all six grades.
