Example to follow: (This is an example of the Second question and I chose to be a High School Student)
My name is Berry Arrowsmith and I am graduating high school in June of 1969. Today we are right at the height of the Vietnam War. I know this because my teachers have been showing us footage from Vietnam and we see the body count every night on television. All us guys had to register for the draft in class today and many of us are very worried we might be sent to war. People here in the U.S. are torn about this war. There are supporters, protesters and draft dodgers. People who support the war and adamant that when your draft number comes up you need to go and fight. They believe that it is your American duty to fight for your country against communism. There are protests which are happening all over the country right now and some are turning violent. At Kent State University, 4 students were shot and killed by the national guards that were sent there to break up the protest. I am heading to college right away this summer so that I do not have to go to war. The United States Government has stated that if you are drafted but are in college, you can turn down your service. This is one reason that this was called a poor man’s war. After all if you had money and could afford college you could stay out of the war.
