Why do I want to continue serving on the Saline Board of Ed?
I care about Saline and Saline Area Shools! The last couple of years, our district has faced significant challenges and it has been trying at times. There is more difficult work ahead of us, as a community, and a district. We have also been a district that, through these difficulties, continues to do a lot of good work. In life, sometimes the most difficult work is the most meaningful work. I respect and value our community, our schools, and our students.
TRUST > RESPECT > EXCELLENCE
The diagram below visually explains what I feel needs to happen in order for our school district, and our community as a whole, to succeed. It all starts with trust.
Once we establish TRUST within our community, our curriculum, and with our staff, RESPECT will ultimately follow. When respect is gained, for one another and for the instructional process, then we can successfully continue our pursuit of EXCELLENCE.
Excellence is always a destination but never a stop!
