About me

Hey science students and families,

My name is Mrs. Milliger but I go by Milliger, Milli or Miss Milli.  

I have 2 kids & 2 dogs and I love being active and doing things outdoors. 

This is my 19th year teaching middle school science and I love sharing cool science things with my students.  

I find the natural world to be SO amazing and awe-inspiring, I can't help but share that curiosity and wonder.

I am constantly updating my knowledge with current events and I am dialed in on new studies and research.  We are in an amazing space and time - there is SO much cool stuff going on around us.  There are amazing new tools, new questions, new research methods and resources for pursuing our interests.

My super-power (if I could choose one) would be photosynthesis.  How AMAZING would it be to eat light and make oxygen (and glucose)?!?  Eating actual food would just be a bonus.  Sign me up!

This is my 5th year at the Junior School and my 4th year as the science department chair. 

I love being at the Junior School and I am *SUPER* excited to kick this year off.
