Google Classroom Information:
Your student will be joining a Google Classroom for their specific period. They will be given a code the first week of school (see below). In this Google Classroom, they will be able to receive digital assignments, as well as announcements and reminders that I might need to share out.
If students are absent, it is their responsibility to check Google Classroom Classwork to see what they missed.
Follow the instructions above to join my class and receive reminders/announcements!
On this page, I will be linking our Week at a Glance.
Our Week at a Glance will show you -

Homework Help
Here are some resources, information, tips and tricks for you to help support your reader at home. My goal is for every student to love reading!
Unless it is assignments that students did not finish in class, our only homework is reading for 20 minutes a day.
This reading time does not need to be 20 minutes straight and uninterrupted (although ideal). It can be broken up into parts.
Tutoring:
I will be holding tutoring twice a week.
Mondays | 4:00-4:15pm
Tuesdays during Lunch Bunch | 11:10-11:25am
If a student needs additional support, I can implement additional time to meet with them by student or parent request.
Link to request reassessment!

Students can only reassess twice per 9 weeks in my class.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I have homework for this class?
The majority of the time a student's daily homework will consist of independently reading a book or text of their choice for 20 minutes per night (unless otherwise stated.)
What if I am absent?
It is your responsibility to check Google Classroom when you are absent. Check that day’s assignments + materials under the Classwork tab for your missing work.
You have two days to complete your missing work before late points are deducted.
What if didn't turn in or do my assignment?
You’ll learn best when you turn in work on time. We have due dates for a reason. However, I will accept late work - it is important that you still get the learning needed to be successful. I cannot accept late work after a grading period has ended If you need help with an assignment, please sign up for Lunch Bunch tutoring. Points will be deducted for late assignments.
