First Quarter, students will be learning the origins and roots of many of our current fairy tale stories from the Brother's Grimm collection and comparing them to modern day adaptations. We will then go more in depth into studying character development of protagonists and antagonists through the genre of horror/thriller stories.

First Quarter students will cover an Introduction to the Theatre learning more about the different stages and roles of the Theatre. Then we will study the works of William Shakespeare and his impact on the Theatre community with a focus on the play "As You Like it".
