Dr. Ahmed Barakat, MBBCh, MSc, FRCOG, FRCS
Dr. Ahmed Barakat graduated from Ain Shams University in Egypt in 1981. He is a member of the Royal college of Obstetricians & Gynecologist London (1992) and the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh (1994). Dr. Barakat founded Al Baraka Fertility Hospital in Bahrain in 2006 which progressed very rapidly to lead the specialty of IVF in the gulf region.

IVF and other assisted reproduction techniques with all its various steps, all contributing to the eventual potential success of the process, in each step various challenges could be encountered.
We will be looking at various challenges and outlining various management options, the reasoning behind them, and the evidence on which they are based.
