Dr. Thierry Hertoghe graduated as a medical doctor in 1986 at the UCL (Université Catholique de Louvain) in Belgium and obtained in 1989 the specialization degree in General Medicine at the ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles). In 2005 he got the certificate of two years in “Anti-aging Medical Therapeutics” at the University Centre of Charleroi and the diploma in “Anti-aging Medicine Specialization” at the European Institute of Scientific Anti-Aging Medicine – Paris. He got honorary doctorship in medicine by the ST Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology in 2014. Dr. Thierry published number of books in the field of aging and hormones therapy: Reversing Physical Aging, Hormone Handbook for physicians, and Atlas of Endocrinology for Hormone Therapy, Textbook of Lifespan and Anti-Aging Medicine, Textbook of Nutrient Therapy, also various studies on hormone therapies. Since 1997 he is member of the International Board of Scientific Advisors of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the President of the European Academy of Quality of Life and Longevity Medicine (Eaquall). He was in charge of the programs at the European Institute of Scientific Anti-Aging Medicine (Paris) from 2001 to 2006. In 2004 he was elected President of the World Society of Anti-aging Medicine (WOSAAM). He is also a founder and member of the editing staff of the Journal of European Anti-Aging Medicine (London). Currently he is the President of the International Hormone Society, President of the World Society of Anti-Aging Medicine and he is a member of the Endocrine Society (IHS).
