The 2020 Bucks Book Award was held at Pipers Corner School as part of their Literary Festival.

The awards were attended by students from schools all over Buckinghamshire, who were all eager to find out if their favourite book had won.

The event started with an amazing talk by the award-winning poet and musician Karl Nova who delivered a unique and engaging performance.

Karl discussed his life, work and inspiration in both a serious as well as a lighthearted way. Students could relate to his easy manner and his poetry performances were just outstanding.

The morning ended with students participating in a poetry workshop with Karl.
