"Noong pumutok ang bulkan, sumabog ang biyaya"- Rev. Fr. Eriberto R. Cabrera
Nestled in the heart of Agoncillo, Batangas, the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish (OMPHP) stands as a beacon of faith, resilience, and community spirit. For decades, it has served as the spiritual home for the people of Agoncillo, offering a sanctuary of peace amidst the challenges of the lakeside region.
A Legacy of Faith
Established in 1945, the parish was born out of the post-war era's need for spiritual renewal. Under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Lipa, it has grown from a humble mission to a vibrant center of Catholic life. The church is dedicated to Mary under the title of "Our Mother of Perpetual Help," a devotion deeply rooted in the Filipino identity. The parish is currently under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Fr. Jay Encarnacion.
The church architecture blends traditional Filipino religious design with modern touches, providing a serene atmosphere for reflection. Whether you are a local resident attending the weekly Novena or a traveler passing through the scenic roads of Batangas, the OMPHP offers a warm welcome and a quiet place to recharge your soul.
Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish (OLMMP), is located at Barangay Subic, Agoncillo, Batangas.
It also bore witness to the religious lives of the locals as it serves the most densely populated area in all of Agoncillo.
Its calmness, its peace and its teachings is a comforting space for people who want to speak closer to God in times of delight and despair.
