Forest School - Hedge Planting Year 4 & 6
We won a bid with Woodland Trust who have supplied us with 420 hedge saplings. Year 4 and Year 6 enjoyed planting the saplings to make a new hedge around the outside of our Forest School. The children learnt the names of the different saplings, they are now able to name by sight the saplings : Dog Rose, Crab Apple, Blackthorn, Rowen and Elder. It will be lovely for the children to see the hedge grow and know that they have planted it.
