The SHLA Big Day Out

As the academic year draws to a close we have launched an exciting initiative that we hope will become a regular part of the school’s calendar.

The SHLA ‘Big Day Out’ will see all students given the opportunity to attend one of a selection of exciting trips. The day promises to be an unforgettable experience with tickets and transport lined up to six different activities along with an in-school activity for students who do not wish to leave school for the day. The day is a reward for all the hard work and dedication the students have shown this year. The ‘Big Day Out’ will take place on Thursday 20th July.

Students have been selecting from the following activities and return a deposit to secure a place. Full trip details will be sent out in the near future. Any questions in regard to the Big Day Out should be made with Mr Read.

Whipsnade Zoo – Student will be able to enjoy the grounds of the park exploring the excellent animal enclosures including the £2m elephant enclosure.
