A Simple Philosophy for School Improvement
We embrace and welcome our whole community. We believe that at the heart of successful teaching and learning is the strength of the relationship between the teacher and the learner. We work hard to establish a learning environment that encourages these relationships to thrive, and where both teachers and learners can realise their full potential. . As a result, SIMPLICITY and CONSISTENCY underpin ALL practice throughout school – from our approach to planning, marking and assessing right through to the way we set our classrooms up. It liberates teachers to teach to the best of their ability and learners to learn and excel. Our curriculum is designed to embrace all the needs of Shafton children and the village we serve. This, coupled with our 4 values underpins all our school improvement work.
