Christmas Dinner 2017
On Wednesday, both children and staff enjoyed an extremely festive Christmas lunch. Tables were set with crackers, Christmas cups and even confetti while carols were playing in the background. Children also created their own place mats which were then laminated. It was wonderful to see everyone getting into the spirit!
What is Espresso?
I am happy to tell you about a new online resource called Espresso which we are launching with every year group, which will bring all areas of our curriculum to life.
What is Espresso?
Espresso is the UK's leading educational digital content company.
It is available for parents and children to use at home. The aim is to transform learning at home by providing high-quality educational resources.
Espresso Primary is an easy-to-use and constantly growing library of digital educational resources. Everything on Espresso supports the National Curriculum and the classroom work which we do here a Shafton Primary.
Children can log on to this resource at home by using their log in details given to them by their teacher.
Each year group will be using Espresso slightly differently. Some children will be signposted to pages which they have been using at school so they can share them with you at home. Other children may have homework tasks to do but please don’t worry if you don’t have a computer at home. For those children, they will have extra time at school to enjoy the tasks using our equipment.
We have already been using Espresso resources in our classrooms for a little while and the children love it. I hope you do too.
