Choir Showcase

This evening, children had the chance to show off all the hard work that they have put into the choir over the last few weeks. Children have been taught by two professional singin with two specialist music teachers called Mrs Karen Cousins and Mrs Jackie Clayton. It is safe to say that parents were completely blown away, their performance struck a real emotional chord. Watch the videos and see for yourself!

Here are some photographs of our Chinese New year Celebration lunch on Wednesday 21st February. Prior to the day, children all made chinese lanterns which were then used to decorate the hall. It was great to see children trying something new. They loved the challenge of eating with chopsticks and got the hang of it really quickly! After they'd eaten, it was time to open their fortune cookies and see what was inside.

Shafton's Walking Bus

On a very chilly Thursday 8th February, children, parents and teachers all met to create a walking bus to school. The purpose was to highlight the importance of being active and to encourage families to leave the car at home and walk. We were amazed by how many families joined us. Well done everyone!

Our Christmas Lunch

Both children and staff enjoyed a wonderful Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. Tables were set with crackers and confetti as jolly Christmas music played in the background. Children also made their own place mat and brought it into the hall to put their lunch on. It was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by all!
