Work Experience is very important, to gain experience students should visit a veterinary practice in-person to ask for work experience.

Virtual Work Experience & Exploring the Veterinary Profession created by the University of Nottingham is a 6-hour online course
The RVC (Royal Veterinary College) has the Junior & Teen Vet Club where student's can sign up for termly updates about events, animal-related activates and careers advice. Also have the Animal Academy and Animal Aspirations for students aged 13+ who meet certain criteria (such as being the first in their family to go to university).
Capel Manor College also run Animal Management Level 3 and Animal Care courses at Level 1 and Level 2. The closest campus is in Gunnersbury Park.

Princes' Trust Enterprise Programme helps people aged 18-30 who are unemployed, or who work fewer than 16 hours per week, to build their business ideas into a solid plan
New Enterprise Allowance supports eligible Jobcentre customers aged 18+ with start-up funding through either and allowance or a loan, as well as support from business mentors.
