Dance Festival 2020

Yesterday, on the 4th February 2020, 27 pupils attended the CPRSSP Primary Dance Festival, held at The Palace Theatre, Southend. The children were given the opportunity to dance their rehearsed pieces at this prestigious venue to an audience of over 600 people.

The children had worked so hard with Mrs Gilling in the lead up to the event and performed at such a high standard on the day! Everyone was blown away by their talent. They represented the school impeccably with superb behaviour and sportsmanship. Everyone had a fabulous time and Mrs Gilling and all of the staff are very proud of everyone who took part.

A special mention to Alexa, Lacey, Ella and Callie for getting up on stage for the fun dancing challenge and to Jessica, Emily, Addison and Sophia for freestyling in the dance off!

We have received wonderful feedback about the event and are glad that it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Message from Mr Barton

I would like to say a huge well done to all of the children who took part in the Dance Festival at The Palace Theatre on Tuesday. The behaviour of our children, in both key stage groups, was outstanding. It was lovely to see all of your hard work pay off, with brilliant routines, that you should be hugely proud of. The feedback from other schools highlighted what an unbelievable standard you performed at. Well done!! Also, many thanks, and well done, to Mrs Gilling for her hard work in helping you dance to this standard.
