Trips & Outings

Trips and Outings

During their years at Plumberow Primary Academy, your child will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of educational visits to support their work within the classroom.

Children do not have to pay for activities which are offered as part of the academy curriculum, but parents may be asked to make voluntary contributions towards the costs of any such activity. Any child who is unable to make a contribution must not be excluded from any visit. Any parents experiencing difficulties in meeting the costs of an educational visit should contact the class teacher or Headteacher, who may be able to offer some financial assistance from within the academy budget.

Year 6 Residential Trip

Year 6 pupils are encouraged to attend a residential trip. This is usually a 4 night stay at an approved Activities Centre. Members of Plumberow staff always visit the sites of these centres to asses the activities on offer and to create a timetable of activities and visits that will benefit the pupils. The activities are run by qualified centre staff. Photos of the Residential trip to The Isle of Wight in June 2017 can be found here! (Photos and information from the trip are usually posted daily on our website and Twitter!)
