Mr Barton - Keeping in Touch!

24th March 2020

Message from Mr Barton - Monday 23rd March 2020

Hello to all of our wonderful Plumberow children. I hope that you are okay and you have managed to complete the work that was set for you today. I am emailing you from school, as we have 57 Plumberow and Ashingdon children in school today. They are the children of parents, who have key worker jobs, so they may be working in jobs that are needed to help the country at the current time, such as the police and in hospitals.

We are going to contact you every day, as we think it is important to stay in touch with you, check you are doing your work and because we are missing you. We need to show our Plumberow spirit, at this difficult time, and help each other to get through a difficult time. We have to stay positive and remember that one day soon, we will all be back in our fantastic school, carrying on your learning journey.

In the meantime, please keep your reading going, phonics and all of the activities that you have been sent. Don't forget, that our school website has a long list of suggested websites for you to support your learning. It is so important that you keep yourselves active, continue with your learning and do as much exercise as possible.

Tomorrow, I will contact you via a video message, with your parents receiving a text to say when it is going on the school website. From then on, this will be a daily occurrence, with a variety of things planned, to stay in touch with you. I will sign off now and speak to you again tomorrow. Please stay safe, keep washing your hands and support your parents at home, with a real effort to keep your learning going.

Best wishes to you all,

Mr Barton
