Physical Activities

In FE a wide range of physical activities are promoted throughout the week. These include focussed sports sessions such as, dance, outdoor education, swimming, cricket, yoga and team games. 

Alongside these activities the students are encouraged to take daily exercise by participating in physical activities during their leisure time. When accessing the community, students walk to local shop and parks. Students participate in ‘5 A Day’ during the registration session. This ensures all students have exercise before settling down to work.


During Gym Trail sessions, students work on their fine motor skills to improve their strength, dexterity and precision.  These skills are then transferred to other areas of the curriculum such as ICT, art and cooking.
