Welcome to the Year 6 Lions Page.

A very warm welcome to the Lion's home page. Miss Bulman is the Lion's class teacher and she has the support of the teaching assistant, Mrs. Southwick. You will be able to see Miss Bulman out on the playground every morning from 8.40am if you have any questions or messages.

Our P.E. sessions this term will Tuesday afternoon and every other Monday. However, we will have P.E. at other times so it is essential that the children have P.E. kit in school from Monday through to Friday. P.E.kit for the Autumn term should be black shorts and a white T-shirt until the weather turns cold and then the children will be allowed to wear jogging trousers and their school hooded top. A change of shoes is essential for P.E. lessons. Trainers or sandshoes are fine for all P.E. lessons.

Children are encourage to read frequently and complete their home-school diary to maintain a record of this. Miss Bulman will ensure that she collects these every Friday if they have not been seen during the week.

Spelling and homework will be given on a Friday and returned on a Tuesday.

Dirt, Disease and Dickens

This term our theme will be The Victorians. We will explore the life of Queen Victoria, the Victorian's in Hull, what they did for us including the Industrial Revolution, Crime and Punishment and Medicine.
