We have a variety of after-school clubs on offer at Langer Primary Academy, often with a waiting list! Your child can attend a range of clubs from different areas of the curriculum. We will charge a weekly amount of £1:00 per child, per week. Most clubs are limited to 20 places, unless otherwise specified. If numbers exceed this then we will operate on a 'first come, first served' basis and additional names will be placed on a waiting list.
AUTUMN TERM 2016/2017 - All clubs start the week Monday 19th September and continue throughout the term (10 weeks) finishing the week 28th November.
Monday Outdoor Learning - for Key Stage 1 (Run by Miss Le Grice & Mrs Macdonald) Archery - for Key Stage 1, Year 3 & Year 4(Run by Mr Liew) Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing for sporting clubs. Card Making - for Year 5 & Year 6 (Run by Mrs Miller) Limited to just 12 spaces.
Tuesday Film Club - for Key Stage 1 (Run by Miss Oddi) Football Club - for Year 3 & Year 4 (Run by Mr Dixon) Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing for sporting clubs, including shin pads.
Wednesday Gymnastics - for Key Stage 1 (Run by Mr Entwistle) Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing for sporting clubs.
Thursday Art Club - for Year 3 & Year 4 (Run by Mr Devitt) Limited to just 12 spaces.
All clubs start at 3:15pm and end promptly at 4:15pm.
The clubs will run for 10 weeks this term, so a total payment of £10:00 will secure a place for your child in a club of their choice for the whole term. Once a child has signed up for a club, we expect that they will commit to attending every week. Non-attendance of two consecutive weeks will lose your child's place on in the club. The payment is non-refundable, so unfortunately if your child is unwell or misses a session for any other reason, this payment will not be returned.
All children should have received a clubs letter, if your child did not bring one home then please speak to the School Office about getting another. Payment can be made in cash at the School Office or online using ParentMail, if paying by ParentMail, please indicate on the form that you have done so.
Please ensure forms and payments are returned by Thursday 15th September to avoid disappointment. You will be notified on Friday 16th September as to which clubs your child has been allocated.
