Mr Elroy Cahill
Headteacher/ Teacher of English and Business Studies
Mr Cahill joined Kingsley Academy as Headteacher in February 2019, from his role as a School Improvement Associate for a National Multi Academy Trust based on the South Coast of England. Prior to this Mr Cahill worked both as a Headteacher in a challenging South London secondary school and previously, as Principal Director of a large secondary school in North London. In his previous roles, Mr Cahill has significant experience of school improvement and has been part of the leadership team in two schools, which have moved from Special Measures to Good in a very short time frame, with one school being placed in the top 20% of schools in the country for progress. Mr Cahill is a graduate of the prestigious Future Leaders Headship programme and has also been a participant on the Mayor of London’s Getting Ahead London programme.
As Headteacher, Mr Cahill is responsible for:
- Overall strategic direction of the academy, leadership and management of the school in partnership with the Kingsley Academy Management Board
Mr Bhavin Tailor
Deputy Headteacher/ Teacher of Sociology and English
Mr Tailor joined Kingsley Academy in April 2019, following a brief period working as an Interim Headteacher in Northamptonshire for a large National Multi Academy Trust. Prior to this Mr Tailor worked as a Deputy Headteacher, leading on Teaching, Learning and Assessment in a large complex secondary school in the West Midlands. In this role Mr Tailor was integral to transforming provision leading the school from Special Measures to Good within 21 months. Mr Tailor is an alumni of the renowned Future Leaders Headship training programme and is responsible for leading Teaching, Learning and Quality Assurance at the academy.

Mrs Khadija Halpenny
Assistant Headteacher/ Teacher of French and Mathematics
Mrs Halpenny joined Kingsley Academy as Assistant Headteacher in April 2019, from another local secondary school where she was an Assistant Headteacher. Mrs Halpenny has substantial senior leadership experience and is responsible for developing the Behaviour and Rewards programmes at the academy as well as leading Admissions, Attendance and Key Stage 4. Mrs Halpenny is fluent in Arabic and French is passionate about the role of languages within education, having started her career as a trainee teacher at the academy’s predecessor school over 20 years ago.

Mr Andy Liddle
Assistant Headteacher/ Teacher of History and English
Mr Liddle joined Kingsley Academy as Assistant Headteacher in June 2019, from his role as Assistant Headteacher in a challenging school in Special Measures in Buckinghamshire, where he was tasked with supporting the development of teaching and learning over a short time period. Prior to this Mr Liddle worked as an Assistant Headteacher and prior to this as Director of Faculty in a challenging urban school in South London. Mr Liddle leads on Sixth Form, Humanities and Student Voice at Kingsley, playing a crucial role in the development of our Post 16 provision to ensure that standards are high and that our students progress on to some of the UK’s best universities and apprenticeship routes.

Mr Prab Govender
Assistant Headteacher/ Teacher of Computer Science and Mathematics
Mr Govender joined Kingsley Academy as Assistant Headteacher in September 2019, from his role as Associate Assistant Headteacher at an Outstanding school in Hillingdon. Mr Govender leads on Curriculum, Assessment and Raising Standards at the academy, and has substantial experience as a successful middle and senior leader. Mr Govender is passionate about the role of knowledge within a successful and challenging curriculum and has played a leading role in developing Kingsley’s new rigorous knowledge bound curriculum.

Mr Bob Tinsley
Assistant Headteacher/ Teacher of Science and Physical Education
Mr Tinsley joined Kingsley Academy as Assistant Headteacher in September 2019, from his role as Director of Faculty at challenging urban school in South London. Mr Tinsley leads on Pastoral Development, Primary Transition and Key Stage 3 and is an alumni of the Harris Federation's NPQSL programme. Mr Tinsley is passionate about developing an ambitious and enriching tutor time programme at the academy that ensures that our students at Kingsley develop as articulate, and confident learners who can express themselves clearly and can participate in a positive way in their local community.

Ms Claudenia Williams
Assistant Headteacher/ Teacher of Science (Biology)
Ms Williams joined Kingsley Academy as Assistant Headteacher in September 2019, from her role as Assistant Headteacher in a challenging comprehensive school in Hillingdon. Ms Williams leads on Beginner Teachers, Middle Leadership Training and Staff Development at the academy. Ms Williams is passionate about Teaching and Learning and works closely with Mr Tailor, our Deputy Headteacher in transforming the quality of provision at the academy to ensure that students benefit from high quality, engaging lessons in every classroom. Ms Williams is an alumni of the NPQSL programme and a graduate from the prestigious Teach First leadership development programme.

Ms Abbi Hawkes
Associate Assistant Headteacher/ Teacher of Design Technology and SEND
Ms Hawkes took on the role of Associate Assistant Headteacher at Kingsley Academy in April 2019, having previously held the role of SENCO at the academy. Ms Hawkes has significant experience as a middle leader in two outstanding schools in Inner London, and leads on the development of the SEND and EAL provision at the academy, as well as leading safeguarding across the school as our Designated Safeguarding Leader.

- Whole School Literacy and Reading
Ms Loren Razzaque
Associate Assistant Headteacher/ Teacher of Science (Physics)
Ms Razzaque joined Kingsley Academy as Associate Assistant Headteacher in September 2019, from her role in a challenging urban school in Southwark. Ms Razzaque has significant experience as an Assistant Headteacher, Senior Lead Practitioner and Director of Science in a range of high performing London schools. Ms Razzaque leads on Science provision at the academy, as well as leading the development of our Careers Strategy and Grammar School Stream. Mr Razzaque also works closely with Mr Tailor. our Deputy Headteacher on the development of marking and feedback across the academy.
