Headteacher's Welcome Message

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about our school. I joined Kingsley Academy as Headteacher in February 2019, having previously worked as a Headteacher and Senior Leader in a number of London secondary schools, including leading two from Ofsted 'Inadequate' to Ofsted 'Good' in 18 months. Since joining Kingsley Academy, I have been impressed by the enormous potential at our school.

Our students are our absolute strength. They are overwhelmingly polite, respectful and hard-working. At Kingsley, we are big believers, in instilling good old fashioned traditional values of respect, hard work and kindness in our students. This is evident in their attitude towards learning, their respectful and polite manner towards each other, towards staff and towards visitors and in their interactions in the local community.

Historically our school has not been high performing, nor has it unlocked the true potential of our terrific students. However we have firmly begun a new chapter in our journey towards excellence, with a new Senior Leadership Team and a new Middle Leadership joining our school in September 2019, all with track records of success. We are determined to ensure that every student at Kingsley Academy, receives a 'world class' education, which allows them to 'Find their remarkable' and go on to lead a 'remarkable life'.

At Kingsley, we want to establish ourselves, as 'a school at the heart of our community, developing knowledge, ambition and kindness to prepare students for success at University and the world beyond'. In order to achieve this, we are committed to ensuring that every lesson, every day at the academy, is challenging and engaging. I am passionate about the power of education to transform lives, and feel strongly that Kingsley Academy, now has the right staff in place to ensure that our school goes from strength to strength. I am confident that Kingsley Academy will soon be one of the highest performing schools in London and will quite quickly take it's rightful place as an Outstanding school, and as a beacon of excellence in West London.

In order to get a true sense of our remarkable school, I urge you to organise a visit to see our school in action. If you would like to schedule a visit, please contact my PA, Julie Traynor jtraynor@kingsleyacademy.org who will be happy to arrange this.

Yours faithfully,

Elroy Cahill
