At Greenwood Academy we discourage the use of make-up, however if a child wears any form of make up this must be subtle in accordance with our school policy. At Greenwood Academy we understand ´subtle make-up´as make-up that is not immediately obvious (as close to a natural look as possible, delicate and discreet). We believe that part of a good education experience is to learn to dress appropriately for each occasion. We do not consider appropriate false eyelashes or nails and the only jewellery that is allowed due to health and safety is one small set of studs in each ear (smaller than the lobe and no hoops) and a maximum of one ring on each hand. Necklaces and chains should be tucked underneath shirts and not visible. Extreme haircuts and/or hair colouring are unacceptable.

Failure to comply with any areas of this uniform policy may result in the child being isolated until their uniform meets the required standards.
