Collecting Funds

We currently collect voluntary donations from our parents to support the academy with a range of extra curricular activities and resources that support your child.

As an academy we have greater freedom to use the money and will be seeking the views of pupils via the School Council and Parent Support Group as to how they would like it spent.

Historically the money has been spent on: Christmas activities and presents for children, The Feast of Cultures event, other festival celebrations, Family workshops and end of term treats for all the children. The funds pay for investment in the next activity in order to generate new income.

The Parent Support Group is currently active and meets regularly during the academic year with teaching staff.

Financial statements and accounts can be requested from the Academies Enterprise Trust finance team.
