Tuesday 19th March

BAE system, the RAF and the Navy offered an inspiration STEM presentation on communications to Year 7 and Year 8 to highlight the importance of engineering within communications with active engagement from volunteers throughout the sessions.

Thursday 14th March

Ahmed Farooq, Chief Financial Officer at Wesleyan Financial Services, led inspirational presentations for Year 10 students to share his experiences and provide information about the different roles he has held. Ahmed also offered advice to students and shared information about apprenticeships. Ahmed enjoyed the 'question and answer' section at the end of each session with students asking interesting questions.

Tuesday 12th March

Careers Ready provided interesting and informative assemblies to Year 7 and Year 9 with the latest Labour Market Information for the West Midlands, and offering guidance for Year 9 with their option choices.

Tuesday 5th March

Year 10 students were lucky enough to visit Wesleyan Finance Headquarters in Birmingham City Centre to find out about apprenticeships as part of National Apprenticeship Week. Wesleyan's inspirational group of current apprentices shared their stories and offered motivation and advice for students of Four Dwellings Academy. Monday 4th March

Tomorrow's Engineers Energy Quest delivered a 'hands on' session for Year 8 students exploring STEM through renewable energy with one successful team creating the winning vehicle. Thanks to @Tomorrows_Eng and @Shell for their excellent workshop.

Friday 28th February

Inspirational and exciting session organised by BBC Asian Network sharing their stories and offering motivational advice on careers with Yasser (Asian Network DJ), Amrit Matharu (BBC Asian Network Assistant Producer), Sandy Scheema (Head of Record Label) and Jagga (recording artist). Year 9, 10 and 11 were suitably wowed with photo opportunities and further one to one advice available at the end of the session. @bbcasiannetwork
