Parent and Community Advisory Board (PCAB) and Education Advisory Board (EAB)

As part of the new governance arrangements for all AET schools, Academies Enterprise Trust have introduced two new Advisory Boards.

The Education Advisory Board (EAB) made up of Columbus staff and the PCAB (Parent and Community Advisory Board) made up of parents/carers of pupils at the school and members of the community.

The PCAB is an opportunity to create exciting initiatives to further enhance the provision at the Academy. Meetings are held termly and the Board report to the Governing Body.

Along with the formation of the PCAB there is also an Employee Advisory Board (EAB) which meets regularly to explore new initiatives. Columbus has representation across all phases of the academy. As with the PCAB the EAB report to the Governing Body.
