We employ a team of dedicated staff, 13 of whom are teachers and 20 are support staff. Our Team of support staff include our Director for Safeguarding and Well-being, Learning and Teaching assistants, Reading assistants and Sports coach. In addition to the learning support staff we have the admin team who provide a warm welcome and ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
Our Pupil Admission Number (PAN) is 30 with an attached 30 full-time equivalent (FTE) place Nursery setting.
The Principal is Mrs Helen Steele who is supported by Mr Ben Jones and Miss Angela Barry the Vice Principals.
We have 8 classes and the Nursery setting all of which are supported by the Learning and Teaching Assistants who help to ensure that our pupils receive individual support, care and challenge. In addition we have our ‘Nurture Group’ provision which was established to support and meet the needs of some of our most vulnerable pupils so that everyone is challenged to achieve their potential.
Our underpinning aim is for all our pupils to 'become the best that they can be' and be challenged to make their best better. Through our inclusive, individualised and inspirational curriculum, we aim to develop attributes and qualities that pupils will build upon as they continue on their learning journey within our setting and on into their next stage of learning. We aspire for our pupils to become productive, respectful, honest and reliable members of the community, who are resilient and determined, whilst fostering attitudes of care and respect for themselves and their own and wider community.
