Learning Responsibilities

At Brockworth Primary Academy, we believe that taking responsibility for our own learning is the most important part of being a successful learner and achieving. Taking responsibility means using a variety of skills when attempting to learn. People who use these skills are known as Purple Learners because they are working in the challenge zone.

When we work in the challenge zone, we feel happy, excited, proud, enthused and we actually want to learn even more.

We have all agreed that

if

children take responsibility for their learning

and

the teachers and support staff take responsibility by ensuring that they support children in the best way possible

then

we will all become successful learners

and, therefore

achieve.

Please discuss these responsibilities at home with your children to help them improve their learning even more.
