Welcome to Beacon Primary Academy!

On behalf of the Children, Staff, Academy Council and Academies Enterprise Trust, I would like to offer you a very warm welcome to Beacon Academy. We provide an inclusive education for children from 2 to 11 years in our large school with extensive grounds and a  swimming pool. We offer Nursery, Mainstream and Special Provision for children from 2 years old.

As the Headteacher, I am very proud of all that we are developing and in particular our curriculum.  We aim to develop lifelong learners with an understanding of our world and the people in it.   We promote creativity, mental and physical well-being and our mission is to enable our children to lead remarkable lives.  

Our caring  staff at Beacon interact positively with children, and encourage them to have high expectations of themselves. The strong empathetic relationships between children and staff strengthens  our approach to achieve good mental health and a bullying free environment.
