Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium

Since September 2011 the Government have allocated funding for pupils who have been granted ‘Free School Meals’ (FSM) provision within the last six years or who have been in local authority care for at least six months (LAC). This money is designated for these pupils via the Pupil Premium Grant (PPG). All stakeholders, including Governing Bodies, must be confident that this money has been directly used to assist these learners in ‘attaining and making the best progress possible across their learning’, as nationally this group do not attain as well or make as much progress as the majority of their peers.
