Welcome to Ashingdon Primary Academy

Message from the Principal

At Ashingdon Primary Academy, we are committed to helping every child succeed. We create a safe, stimulating and supportive atmosphere where children can love life, learning and play.

We aim to offer our pupils rich and exciting learning opportunities enabling them to achieve, develop and inspire them to choose a remarkable life. We enable our children to leave us as confident and respectful young people, equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in their lives ahead.

We hope that our website gives you all the information you need about our school.

We are always pleased to welcome visitors so please make an appointment at the school’s main office should you wish to come and visit or fill in the google form to book a place on a school tour.

Pupils have now returned to school. If you are isolating due to Covid19, you can access age-appropriate learning resources via our virtual learning page.

Welcome to our Virtual School Library, brought to you by the staff of Ashingdon Primary Academy!

Every week, members of staff from across the school will provide you with virtual stories or chapters from longer novels. We will be posting weekly videos of our staff reading their chosen story on our school website - and keeping you up-to-date with the latest content via our weekly newsletter.

Having access to stories is really important for children. Stories nurture a love of reading that can enrich children’s literacy skills, academic achievements and mental wellbeing. Our Virtual School Library will help to ensure that children have access to the magical world of stories all year round, read to them by members of staff, whether they are learning at school or at home.

Please take full advantage of our Virtual School Library and use it to support children’s wellbeing through stories.
