COVID Information

Parents and carers should continue to discuss the importance of continuing to follow the Government’s Hands, Face, Space campaign. It is essential that any period of self-isolation is adhered to in order to reduce the risk of further transmission within the wider community.

We would like to remind parents that, should your child test positive for COVID-19 at any time, communication should be made with the school via our email

Should your child display any symptoms of COVID-19 infection, they must not be sent into school. The identified symptoms are:

  • a high temperature

  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot, for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours

  • a loss or change to sense of smell or taste – this means they cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

If your child has any of the main symptoms of coronavirus:

  1. Get a test to check if they have coronavirus as soon as possible. Inform the school immediately that your child has symptoms. They should not come to school.

  2. Stay at home and do not have visitors until you get the test result – only leave your home to have a test. Inform the school of the results of the test.
