As the festive season is now fully upon us, we're delighted to share some of the most heartwarming celebrations taking place in AET schools. From Christmas crafts to exceptional musical performances, schools across our network have been coming together to have fun and give back to their communities. Here are just a few of our highlights:
Caldicotes Primary Academy
Festive fun unfolded at Caldicotes Primary Academy in Middlesbrough, as families came together to channel their inner artists and craft delightful Christmas cards for friends and family.
Lea Forest Primary Academy
In Birmingham, Lea Forest Primary Academy's concert wowed the community with some brilliant student performances on drums, electric guitars, and keyboards. The school’s Christmas Fair added to the magic, raising a remarkable £1,775.
Broadlands Academy
Students at Broadlands Academy in Bristol came together to create festively adorned tutor room doors spreading holiday cheer throughout the school. There were some really creative designs in there!
Newington Academy
With a visit from Santa and his elves, pupils at Newington Academy in Hull enjoyed reading an exciting festive story and singing along in the spirit of the season.
North Ormesby Primary Academy
In Middlesbrough, North Ormesby Primary Academy was one of many AET schools this year to celebrate #ChristmasJumperDay and raise money for charity, Save the Children. Here’s a snapshot of Year 3 in their merriest jumpers!
The Rawlett School
In Tamworth, The Rawlett School's Y10 catering students baked and decorated Yule logs, adding a dash of seasonal indulgence to their learning about food preparation.
Barton Hill Academy
Christmas crafts unfolded at Barton Hill Academy’s Nursery as parents and children joined forces in a fantastic workshop, using colourful materials to create the perfect gifts for friends and family.
Noel Park Primary School
Pupils at Noel Park Primary School in North London learned about transient art and created their own Christmas-themed examples using beads and foam shapes.
Kingswood Academy
The Kingswood Academy Choir took their singing capabilities to Kesteven Grange Care Home in Hull, performing Christmas Carols and spreading festive cheer to brighten the holiday season.
Meadstead Primary Academy
The joy of the Christingle service warmed hearts at Meadstead Primary Academy in Barnsley, as the school community came together with this very unique festive tradition.
Feversham Primary Academy
Pupils at Feversham Primary Academy in Bradford wowed audiences with their production of the classic Nativity performance. With singing, dancing, and an excellent cast of characters, they were sure to create some lasting Christmas memories.
The Green Way Academy
Pointy ears and red hats took centre stage at The Green Way Academy in Hull during their Elf day. Pupils at the school spent the day dressed as Santa’s little helpers, raising money for the Alzheimer's Society.
