AET shortlisted for three categories in 2024 MAT Excellence Awards

AET is delighted to announce it has been nominated in three categories in the 2024 MAT Excellence Awards presented by Optimus Education. This recognition comes as a culmination of a highly successful year for our network of schools, marked by significant achievements and exciting initiatives.
MAT of the Year
As AET's performance continues to improve, we are delighted to be recognised as a frontrunner for the MAT of the Year award. Over the last few years, our network has achieved several milestones in school improvement, financial stability, governance and talent management. As we continue towards excellence, our recent AET leadership campaign to find the nation’s most brilliant school leaders has garnered attention and talent, positioning our network for continued success.
Digital Innovation Award
Our focus on digital innovation has led to several powerful and exciting tech-themed initiatives over the past year. Notable achievements include the creation of our Technology Support Officers, bridging the gap between teaching and technology, the appointment of a dedicated EdTech lead, and the creation of a comprehensive digital strategy. Our strong collaborations with other educational trusts and suppliers, such as Google, Canva and underscore our progress in leveraging technology to enhance educational outcomes and ensure that AET remains an exciting place in the world of EdTech.
Rebecca Boomer-Clark nominated for CEO of the Year
Among the nominees for CEO of the Year is AET’s Rebecca Boomer-Clark. Rebecca’s leadership of our network embodies our network-wide commitment to delivering outstanding education to every child, in every classroom, every day. Her pioneering strategies in school improvement and talent development have helped drive AET’s continued success over the last few years.
