Vice Principal Deep Support
I am super excited to meet and see you all very soon. When you join us (I do hope this will be very soon) you’ll see me in your lessons and around the academy. My main role is working with staff to support you with your behaviour, attitudes and wellbeing. I am also the Safeguarding Lead; you can talk to me at any time. Outwood Academy Adwick is a lovely place to learn and I cannot wait to share this with you.
Vice Principal Deep Experience
Hello and welcome to all of our soon to be Year 7 students. I am an Vice Principal of Deep Experience Principal and PE teacher at Outwood Academy Adwick and my main role is to encourage all of our students to make positive behaviour choices and support you with any issues you may have. I oversee our curriculum and timetabling. I also make sure that you set goals for yourself through experiences in school aimed to help you decide what you'd like to do later in life. I am a mental health ambassador too. I enjoy visiting lessons around the Academy and seeing our students achieve wonderful things. We are excited to meet you all very soon!
Vice Principal Deep Learning
My role in the Academy is Associate Vice Principal for Deep Learning. My job is to make sure that you learn in lots of interesting and fun ways and that you are recognised for the fantastic efforts that you put in. I can’t wait to see how many purple praise stickers you can collect and I am already looking forward to rewarding our first year 7’s on the Proud Podium. I am so proud to be a member of staff here at Adwick and I hope you will be proud to wear the Outwood badge too. Assistant Principal Deep Experience
My name is Mr Tweedale. I am a History teacher and an Assistant Principal. I am really really excited to see you all in September at the beginning of your fabulous learning journey at Adwick. I have a real passion for History and want share this with you when you join my class. My main focus as Assistant Principal is on the Post 16 area of school. I really hope that you enjoy your 5 years at Adwick so much that you want to stay on at P16 and continue to be enthused with the topics we teach at A level and at BTEC.
Assistant Principal Deep Support
My name is Mr Veal. I am a History teacher and an Assistant Principal. I am really looking forward to seeing you all at your new school. I love teaching my subject and so I hope that I will get to teach some of you and we can discover some of the most important turning points in History.

I have worked in the Outwood family for four years, firstly working in the Deep Support team at Outwood Academy Danum and now as an Associate Assistant Principal at Outwood Academy Adwick, responsible for attendance

I am the Y7 learning manager at Outwood Academy Adwick. I also oversee transition, HeppSY+ and Careers at OAA.
I have a passion for helping students learn to be independent and aspirational.
Associate Assistant Principal Deep Support/Experience
I have worked across Deep Support, Deep Learning and Deep Experience to enhance the experiences of our students. My areas of responsibility have included student rewards, pledges, enrichment and SMSC and British Values. In 2018, I was appointed as Associate Assistant Principal across Deep Experience and Deep Support, I used to on HEPPSY, SMSC, British Values and Student Voice, as well as supporting the wider Senior Leadership Team across the Academy, however I work on remote learning within the academy at present.
Associate Assistant Principal Deep Learning
I began my career in 2013 after successfully completing a PGCE in Music Education. I have undertaken a range of leadership roles including Head of Department, Head of the Creative Arts Faculty, Aspiring Leader and my current role as Associate Assistant Principal for Deep Learning at Outwood Academy Adwick. My areas of responsibility are: student voice, student praise and rewards.
My role is the Special Educational Needs Co-coordinator or SENCo for short. Here at Outwood Academy Adwick we have an amazing inclusion department and i am proud to be a part of this team. We all work together to ensure that your school journey with us is supported throughout, whatever challenges you may face.

My role in the Academy is Lead Learning Manager, LAC Co-ordinator and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. My office is based in the PLC however you will see me around the Academy and in your lessons a lot. I am responsible for ensuring that all students have the support they require. I play an active role in safeguarding and promoting positive mental health within the Academy. I look forward to meeting you all.
I’m the Attendance Manager/ Education Welfare Officer at Outwood Academy Adwick. I will support you and your family if there is anything preventing you from attending school – your attendance is really important and we hope to see you every day!
I am the inclusion coordinator at Outwood Academy Adwick. I am really looking forward to meeting you when you join us into Year 7.
I am the SEN Officer in the Academy, my role is to support you and your family in the Academy with any extra needs to support your learning.
