Established in 2012, the Advance Awards recognise the work of remarkable global Australians (including international alumni of Australian universities) making an extraordinary impact on the global stage in industry sectors that are of particular importance to Australia. The Advance Awards are the only Awards of their kind, and recognise and celebrate the work of global Australians who exhibit remarkable talent, exceptional vision and ambition at any stage of their career.

Who can nominate?

Individuals may nominate themselves and others. Unsuccessful nominees from previous years may re-nominate subsequently.

Who can be nominated?

Australian citizens or Australian residents, or alumni of an Australian university who are non-Australian citizens or residents. Nominees must have lived overseas at some point in their career and must be active (i.e. not retired). Read all eligibility criteria here.

Why nominate?

The Advance Awards unearth great Australians who are innovating in their field and promote their achievements broadly. The award winners join an elite group of GameChangers that are leading Australia’s global competitiveness.
